Tones: dark, provocative, surreal
Sisters Rhea and Kanika enter a skin-bleaching clinic promising lighter complexions, only to discover that the treatment harvests melanin from their own bodies in this body-horror short.

Pathania takes the most obvious target—colorism, beauty standards, the whole rotten infrastructure—and punches it into literal body horror that somehow feels *less* grotesque than the real thing. This is subversion that doesn't announce itself; it lets the premise do the violent work.
A sharp formal escalation from psychological realism into surrealism that recalls Bodys in Motion–era horror, though Pathania's restraint in the grotesque sequences shows real command of tone; the film knows exactly when to cut away and when to hold.
The decision to have the melanin extraction happen *within* the sisters' bodies—visible only through the machinery, never the flesh—creates an abstraction that hits harder than any prosthetic could; that single spatial choice reframes the entire satire.
