The Tinder-horror angle feels a little on-brand obvious now—dating app as predator trap is the move everyone makes—but Kuczewski's execution is tight enough that it mostly sidesteps the cliché by sheer velocity.
A cleanly constructed thriller that understands the grammar of suspense beats and uses the five-minute constraint with formal discipline; the twist lands because the pacing earns it, not in spite of the brevity.
What makes this work is the decision to compress the entire psychological arc into Andrew's micro-expressions during the drive—one actor's face managing tension, hope, and then dread in near-silence is the whole film, and it's enough.
