Nine intense minutes in subjective shot tell an everyday story about the different ways in which a person can undress — and how complicated undressing can be.

Carlevaris takes the most obvious subject—a person undressing—and somehow makes it genuinely unsettling by refusing to sexualize it, which feels like a trick until you realize the real subversion is the restraint itself.
The subjective POV becomes a formal constraint that echoes the body-horror and phenomenological cinema of the '70s, though Carlevaris uses it with an almost clinical restraint that positions the mundane as conceptually rigorous.
Nine minutes of subjective camera work could be gimmick, but the decision to hold on gesture and texture—the weight of fabric, the hesitation in movement—transforms undressing from action into duration, which is everything here.
