Sve te senzacije u mom trbuhu (All Those Sensations in My Belly)

The scouts

Trans woman narrating her search for intimate connection while the animation style itself emotionally syncs and the characters render more solid as the story deepens. The form-as-feeling concept is genuinely smart.

Djeska's color palette and saturation shift dynamically with emotional tone while character rendering deepens as the story does — the visual form is genuinely the protagonist's interior. Adriatic Animation is a serious house.

Adriatic Animation production with BAP co-production, distributed by Bonobostudio, Animafest pedigree implied by the truncated festival list — 13 minutes of trans-centered animated documentary where the visual style itself deepens with the narrator's emotional state is exactly the kind of form-as-feeling craft choice I value. The Vimeo On Demand listing suggests it has real distribution muscle behind it.

Reviews

A raw and mesmerising piece of storytelling that digs deep beneath the surface notes of its plot and cements an emotionally charged connection between the central character and her audience.

This is a travelogue from shame and fear to empowerment whose animated treatment adds to the journey itself.
