The premise is a rom-com greeting card—fixer-upper woman, fixer-upper man, will she fix him—and Perklič knows it, which is the only interesting thing about it. If there's a subversive angle buried in those three minutes, I didn't find it.
A competent execution of a familiar romantic archetype, with the whimsy-and-tenderness tonal blend that feels safe and intentional, though it doesn't interrogate or expand the tradition it inhabits.
The film's entire intelligence lives in the editing rhythm between her salvage moments and their meet-cute—a few perfectly timed cuts that let the absurdity of the premise breathe without explaining it, turning a threadbare concept into something that actually lands.
