Seven-minute NFB family cartoon about books literally falling out of shelves. Sweet. Boring.
NFB's continued commitment to children's animation is its own kind of pedigree, and the book-characters-tumbling-into-life conceit has charm — but this lives squarely in family programming rather than my usual territory. Honest craft, not my register.
NFB-produced, 2.4M views over 15 years on the NFB channel — a 7-minute kids' animation about books spilling into reality. Reliable Canadian institutional craft; charming, well-made, but unsurprising.
