DeLong files a roommate-comedy under a corrupted .wmv filename and pretends it's a Wachowski tribute — pure deadpan poverty cinema. The Lorelei Ramirez / Anthony Oberbeck lineup alone is enough.
DeLong's Brooklyn roommates remake The Matrix with full commitment and zero competence — Joe Pera Talks With You's flat affect applied to a feature-remake larp. The would-be Neo's brother is the saddest part.
Brooklyn roommates remaking The Matrix with full commitment and zero competence, mixing up pill colors and forgetting the plot — feature-remake larp as deadpan apartment hangout is a strong organizing principle. Page summary blocked but the premise reads cleanly.
Reviews
A hilarious piece of deadpan silliness, with DeLong co-starring as the unwanted roommate with a wonderful sad/funny quality.
