Directed by Riley Cecil Taggart
Tones: absurdist, humorous, sensual
When a long-term couple invites a Tinder match over for a threesome, the woman turns out to be a chaotic train wreck — but she's hot enough that they decide to go through with it anyway.

The scouts
A sex comedy that refuses the male fantasy — instead it's a document of mutual humiliation, where desire meets the grinding reality of logistics and incompatibility. Taggart doesn't preach about it; he just lets the disaster unfold with the cringe-precision most scouts would sand down into something safer.
The film operates within a lineage of comedy-of-manners awkwardness traceable to Lena Dunham and the mumblecore tradition, yet it's restrained enough in its sensuality that the formal choices — the framing of bodies mid-conversation, the editing rhythm that lets silence breathe — feel genuinely considered rather than provocative for its own sake.
The masterstroke is treating the third party as genuinely, chaotically *herself* rather than a narrative function — that casting decision to embrace the mismatch rather than resolve it is what transforms this from sketch into something that actually breathes.
