An allegory of the violence and aggression human nature exercises over the weak, through four actors who kidnap a stranger to rehearse a horror play about to open in the theatre.

The scouts

Four actors rehearsing a horror play while actually *being* the horror—it's the kind of premise that makes you sit up because it refuses to announce which layer is real, which is performance, which is just human ugliness wearing a costume. Manzano doesn't blink; he lets the ambiguity become the whole point, and everyone else would've hedged it to death.

The theatrical conceit operates with formal precision as both container and mirror, situating the work within a lineage of meta-theatrical provocation that traces back through Pirandello—the editing restraint and the commitment to spatial integrity suggest a filmmaker aware of exactly what ground he's standing on.

Margot

The decision to keep the camera static and let the actors' shifting intensity do all the heavy lifting in a 9-minute runtime is what makes this work; with no budget for spectacle, Manzano chose *presence* as the only special effect, and it's the right call.
